We strongly believe that it is vital to celebrate the successes of our school and have aimed to design the website to highlight these key areas. In particular we feel that the very visual aspect of the site does much to convey both our values and what our students have achieved.
The school has always and will always place huge emphasis on academic achievement. We have a long and proud tradition of academic success and are proud of our standing within the community and also what our students go on to achieve after they leave the school. We hope that our traditional yet forward thinking ethos has been reflected in the stories and images on the pages of our website.
Academic success is clearly very important but we feel much of the soul of the school is formed around the wider opportunities we offer. Our pupils take part in a huge range of extra-curricular activities and our ‘Latest News’ pages reflect the latest events that have taken place. On the Main School page we urge you to read about our latest fundraising activities, our links with schools abroad or the individual achievements of our pupils. We are proud of Audenshaw’s reputation for sporting success and these accomplishments can be read about on the Main School ‘Sports News’ pages.
Our Sixth Form is integrally linked with our Main School but also retains its own unique identity. Therefore we have given our Sixth Formers their own pages where events in this part of the school can also be celebrated. Just as in the Main School, our Sixth Formers have distinct pages where their own news and sporting success is reported.
There are other sections of our site that we feel would benefit a visit. The school runs many clubs and societies and as examples, there is information about Drama, Peer Counselling and Global Links amongst others.
