Welcome to the Audenshaw Global Community.
Over the past five years, the school has been developing its global dimension in an effort to broaden the horizons of its pupils. It permeates through the entire curriculum and touches many topics covered in different subjects.
It has been my pleasure and indeed, honour, to witness the school develop in this area with many international links being established in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. These links are sustained through pupils corresponding with each other through email, Skype video conferencing and visits to and from various schools / pupils / staff globally.
The school has now achieved the full International School Award and is an ‘ambassador school’ in the North West region. We are one of the five hundred schools with Fairtrade status this year.
Both the Fairtrade and OXFAM Foundations are exceptionally popular with Audenshaw pupils. Both have helped many people and communities abroad thanks to the support of the School.
We have many more exciting ideas / events on the horizon to further strengthen this part of the community and school. Both pupils, parents and staff are strongly encouraged to offer their support, help and advice.
