Audenshaw School's ICT department aims to develop our pupils into independent users of ICT. We want our pupils to be able to choose an ICT solution to a problem or task, where appropriate, and be able to adapt their skills, knowledge and understanding to complete it.
We aim to deliver interesting and inclusive lessons which are accessible to all and provide fully differentiated work throughout The School. Through practice tasks and carefully set assignments we aim to build up the confidence and experiences of the pupils in order for them to apply skills appropriately in different situations and subjects.
Our department has a good mixture of youth and experience and all our teachers have their own unique skills, teaching styles and enthusiasm which they bring to their lessons. We are a relatively new department and have grown and improved in our short time. As with the nature of the subject we too are continually reviewing what we do and the technologies we use. We are all committed to working hard to maintain our excellent results and finding ways to improve in the future.
