Applying for a course at the right level

Level 1 courses – Below GCSE level

Level 2 courses – GCSE level (Level 2 diploma, etc)

Level 3 courses – Above GCSE (A ‘level, Level 3 diploma, T-levels)

We would urge you to see a range of colleges to keep your options open. The vast majority of applications submitted between half term and the Christmas holidays, applications for apprenticeships come later.

The demand for apprenticeship is always high and competitive.

There are no limits on the number of colleges you can apply to, keep your options open. Unbelievably, some students in the past have rejected offers that were eventually needed come results day.

Please both aim high and seek a course that is right for you, not just your friends.

If you need any more help; speak to your teachers, Mr Bond or Mr Ferry.
