The Brian Bason U12 Rugby 7s. Hosted annually by Audenshaw School and for the first time, held at @aldwinians_rugby.
For what seems like the first time in 2026 we were blessed with blue skies and sunshine ☀️ to set the tone for a great day.
Our boys reached the Cup Semi Final having won group B with victories against Bolton, St Mary`s and Stonyhurst on the way. The eventual Cup winners, Lancaster RGS (pic 2), bettered the Audy boys in a tight semi. Congratulations to them on winning the 16 school, hotly contested, competition.
Congratulations also to Cheadle Hulme who won the Plate and well done to Calday Grange on a Bowl victory.
Thanks to @aldwinians_rugby for superb hospitality at the venue. There were plenty of smiles on the faces of those who opted for the double cheeseburgers on offer!
In two weeks time we do it all again with Y10 boys for the annual Dean Schofield 7s and hope it will equal the brilliance of the Y7 comp today. 🔴⚪🏉
Y11 Geography revision weekend done right! 📚🌍 Focused mornings, fun-filled afternoons and evenings, and lots of great memories along the way!
Year 10 visited the UK University search event today at Old Trafford, no shortage of pens and bucket hats. We hope they also got a glimpse into their own future potential.
Well done to Toby P in Year 7 who won the first Maths Challenge competition this year 🙂
This half term we took some of our year 9 pupils to the KPMG offices in Manchester to explore different career routes into business and finance. They took part in interactive workshops and met professionals from different parts of the business
Some of our Year 7 pupils went to Jodrell Bank on a STEM trip in February. The pupils got to explore the wonders of space, took part in interactive workshops, explored the exhibition areas and enjoyed hand on activities
Year 10 went to Ashton Sixth Form College in January on a Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Sciences trip to explore the career paths into these areas. The boys also got to participate in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology lessons
Year 7 have celebrated their Zero Heros this week! These boys consistently demonstrate our school values of RESPECT, RESILIENCE and RESPONSIBILITY. We`re proud to have you at Audenshaw.
We’re already half way through our rehearsals for this year’s school musical! This year we have TWO spectacular casts to entertain you, with the wonderfully whacky Addams Family 🧟♀️
Yesterday was all about the future! 🚀 Some of our Year 10 students visited Manchester Central for the massive JD UP careers exhibition.
From testing out HGV simulators and DJ booths to chatting with pros from Nike and adidas, our students got a front-row seat to the world of global retail. With 28 different departments on show—including tech, law, and design—it was the perfect day to spark some serious career inspo. ✨
Huge thanks to the JD Group for hosting such an interactive and high-energy event!
