Year 8s did a fabulous job in the MMU Moot courtroom today. This visit goes on with their learning in English of law, order and justice. Every single one of them played their role perfectly, and learnt about what it`s like to be in a British courtroom. From jurors to the judge, the boys did an exceptional job. #exceptionalyoungmen
Languages really come to life for students when they use them to communicate in real life situations 🇪🇸🙌
Year 10 Spanish students have been lucky enough to enjoy video exchange conversations with native Spanish speakers in Colombia. These were sent by our brilliant Spanish language assistant from this year, Edwin all the way from his school in Bogotá where his students learn English as a foreign language.
The modern day equivalent of international pen pals🇨🇴🇬🇧👏
We are so proud of them- they sound SO fluent💪
Well done to all of the Year 8`s who sat the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge! There were lots of Gold, Silver and Bronze certificates!
This terms Sparx Maths Champion winner is Muadh M in Year 7! Well done! Muadh has made great progress on his end of year exams after he used SPARX to help him prepare for them!
Sparx Maths Champions for this half term!
Thank you to @beenetworkgm for delivering presentations to years 7, 8, 9, and 10 today. Our boys were interested to learn about how to stay safe on public transport and how to avoid anti social behaviour. #safetyfirst #respect #travelsafe #beenetwork
OUR VALUES
We are advocates for lifelong learning and believe that we all can grow, develop and inspire each other as we move through life together. We aim to provide the highest quality education in a caring community based on our very much ‘active’ school values, respect, responsibility, resilience and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
It is these values that shape our wonderful and dedicated school community to enable everyone to be the best that they can be – both personally and academically.
