Check out our new Halloween inspired careers display. Even the sorcerer had an apprentice.
It was great to have @xaveriancollege in this morning for our 5th college presentation to year 11. Application forms and prospectuses can be collected from form leaders.
This week, our Student Literacy Leaders had the mammoth task of selecting the top 15 from a pile of 109 spooky stories/petrifying poems created by students across years 7-9.
The top 15 were invited to Audenshaw’s annual Halloween Read-In event where they had to read their creations aloud to a group of peers, judges and staff members. It is safe to say that the audience were scared out of their wits!
Well done to all of those who participated, supported and helped to judge. But the biggest of congratulations to our top winners:
1 - J. Minshull 7S
2 - O. Aldridge-Bligh 7Y
3 - K. Wilkinson 7W
4 - T. Perry 7N
5 - A. Kerr 8U
They are now in possession of a £10 voucher or a brand new horror novel! Well done; you are truly, exceptional young men. #literacyataudenshaw #literacy #halloween #writing #oracy 💀🎃🦇🏆❤️
